For this family, the kitchen was one of the most important parts of the home. They loved to cook and entertain, and needed space and design that would allow them to do both.
The major design challenge in this home was creating a continuous, functional array of cabinetry along a 28-foot wall that also blended with the home’s aesthetic. The kitchen continues into a hidden butler’s kitchen and pantry, and display cabinets link the dining area to the cooking area across that continuous wall. The design ties together a working and entertaining space that is at the same time functional and attractive.
